RAYMOND J. PADO

Raymond J. Pado 59, passed away Thursday August 1, 2019.

Born in Providence, RI he was a son of Louise M. (Duval) Pado of Cumberland, RI and the late Zygmund “Ziggy” Pado. He was the father Raymond T. Pado of Cumberland, RI and Jennifer (Pado) Dufresne and her husband Mark of Johnston, RI. Ray is also survived by three sisters, Barbara M. Pado of Lincoln, RI, Debora A. Pado and Veronica L. Roy both of Cumberland, RI. He was a life long resident of Valley Falls, RI.

Ray attended Cumberland High School. He was a talented carpenter and during his career he was employed by Nationwide Construction and Dome Construction. Ray loved sports and could often be found listening to a Red Sox or Patriots game at his garage. He was a avid outdoorsman and loved to go fishing and taking his boat out on the Blackstone River.

Ray was on the Board of Directors for the “Friends of the Blackstone”. He was a dedicated volunteer and spent countless hours working on projects to help restore the river. He was very passionate about the work he did helping to clean up the river.

Ray had a great sense of humor and adventurous spirit. He will be greatly missed by his family, as well as his wonderful network of friends and colleagues.

His funeral will be held Thursday August 8, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home 342 High Street Central Falls, RI  with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Fatima Church Fatima Drive Cumberland, RI at 10:00 a.m. CALLING HOURS WEDNESDAY AUGUST 7, 2019 FROM 4:00 P.M. TO 7:00 P.M.

Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland, RI.
